Configuring Notifications

Users can configure how they receive different types of notifications under 'Notifications Configuration':
In this view you are able to select whether you receive notifications by email and/or in the platform. This can be set on a module by module basis, for all notification types or different methods of receiving for different types of notification.
Notification types are defined as below:
Warning - information about a process/task that has run successfully but failed to produce the expected result and you might need to look into it. For example, an empty data export file; the export ran successfully but there was no data, it could be the correct outcome because there was no data available but the user may want to check.
Alert - information about failing processes that requires action. For example, failed collections/disbursements, transaction file processing failures or payment method validation failure
Message - delivers information that doesn't require user action. For example, confirmations of file imports and exports, successful collections and disbursements.
To check and amend the configuration you need to expand each module and use the tick boxes to select or deselect the notification types and delivery methods you wish to apply.
Note: by default the platform is configured to display all alert type notifications in the platform and also send them by email.
You can add Warning and Message notification types to each module.
