A Commercial Link (CL) is a configuration (set of rules) defining the commercial relationship between partners registered on the Travel Ledger platform. It is a mandatory prerequisite for all subsequent platform interactions. The combined elements of a CL define the participants, time frames and payment methods used for the transaction settlement between the partners linked in the CL.
To create a Commercial Link, all parties need to already exist on the TL platform (see Invite Partners to the Platform) and the following elements must already be in place:

When you select 'Create' you will be asked if you are a PE or a Seller:
Once you have selected accordingly, you will need to complete the information as below. This is where your preconfigured Company details, Settlement schedules, business terms and payment service details are all required for completion. You will also need to allocate a status to the CL, it can either be set as immediately 'live' or as 'pending' if you are not ready for trade to start immediately.
Once you have created a CL, it can also be edited, copied or have the status updated (from 'live' to 'pending' and vice versa):
