Funding your TL Pay Account

Once your TL Pay Account is approved, the next step is to fund your account.

Follow these quick steps to get set-up:

Step One: Finding My Unique Account Details
  1. Log in to Travel Ledger and visit your TL Pay Account

  2. Click on the 'Funding' tab

  3. Here, you'll find your unique TL Pay account number and sort codes, which are necessary for transferring funds from your business bank account.

  4. Complete a £1 deposit. Please note that this initial funding amount is required to verify your account. Please note that moving forward, you will need to ensure your TL Pay account is funded with the weekly collection amount due. This is not a Direct Debit.

The above screenshot is from a test environment. Do not use these account details for funding your TL Pay account.

Step Two: How to View My Completed Transfer
  1. Once you've sent £1, your balance will be updated within 48 hours in the top-left currency tile and under the 'Transactions' tab of your TL Pay Account. Subsequent transfers can be viewed instantly if you're using FasterPay.

  2. Your balance is visible across all tabs within the TL Pay section.

Additional Information
  1. You'll need to fund your TL Pay Account with a minimum of £1 to establish the bank account for future transfers and withdrawals.

  2. Make sure the name on your bank account matches your company name in Travel Ledger. If there's a mismatch, NIUM will not approve it. This is a fraud prevention measure.
