In this page we will look at how to review your Company and Associated Company information.
You can view 'Companies and Users' under Settings > Companies and Users:
You will see in the screenshot that at the top of the page there is My Company - this details of the company your account is associated with. These details include whether your company is a Head office (HQ) or Branch (BR), the name, ID, number of users, address etc. In this section you have the ability to select the 'pen' icon to edit these details (update the company name, add or amend company IDs etc. For suspending the head office/branches see Suspending and Archiving Head Office and Branches):
The next section is Manage users, see User Creation and User Management for guidance on using this area.
At the bottom of the page you will see 'Associated Companies' - this is where you have visibility to any other companies associated with yours, for example, branches. The example below demonstrates a Head Office (highlighted in My Company) with it's branches listed under Associated Companies.
In the Associated Companies view, you can see that the companies are labelled as branches (rather than head offices), whether a company inherits commercial links from its head office or has it's own (yes and no respectively), whether a branch is centrally managed by its head office or is self managed (yes and no respectively) and the number of users associated with the branch.
Next to each associated company, you will find the 'pencil' icon, by clicking into this you can edit the details of the company such as the name, ID, management and commercial link settings.
It is important to note that if your user profile is associated with a Head Office, you will have access and edit rights to all the branches/sub entities associated with your head office in the 'Associated Companies' area. If your user profile is associated with a branch/sub entity of a Head Office, you will only have viewing access to this Head Office in the 'Associated Companies' area (example in the screenshot below).
You can also use the 'edit' icon to suspend a Head Office or branches, for guidance on this you can visit Suspending and Archiving Head Office and Branches page
